My 2.00 AM Thought

2.00 AM
Unexplainable quarrel between the mind and heart
Sudden cravings for Maggie
Wierd!!!

The dark night
Wind. Silence
Paradox?

Looking through the window
Gazing the stars
Having midnight conversation with the moon
Realisation of the things
Noticing the changes
Memories. Tears. Smiles.

Solitude!!!!! Oh yeah….
‘Life will give you the pain you can neither accept nor reject
You just want to live with that..’
What kind of life is this?

My friend once said ‘if it is meant for you it’ll always finds its way. Always’
Is it so?

Suddenly my phone vibrates…
Excited and curious
But it’s my daily remainder
“Don’t make efforts for the one who doesn’t know your worth”
That made me upset

Again looked at the full moon
Asked the questions which I had in mind
It replied
‘Even moon takes its break once in a month but never fails to comeback…so does people!’
And that made me smile.
My 2.00 AM partner- Moon
You know me better than anyone..

Reminder to myself!

Sitting with the paper and pen for more than an hour… Without penning down even a word.. Part of me is thinking about something which is nothing in particular… Part of me wants to write something and express how I feel… But sometimes you can’t put up your emotions into words and this is one such day. Having a long day with no plans literally with no plans!! Have you experienced such feel? Have you experienced living a LIFELESS LIFE? With the fear of future haunting every single minute?  Is this the time to think and take decisions? Maybe!!!… But life will not be the same as we reckon. We should need a backup for everything. Having spent 22 years of life without worrying about anything and when it’s the time to take responsibilities  indescribable fear of future is prevailing me. In a dilemma to choose the best for me. When something in me wants to do which I like the most.. And another part of me is keep on echoing to live a normal life. But that’s not what I want. ‘Think Wise and Decide’ is the most heard phrases in the recent times. It’s not only me but also people of my age facing the same issues. And then I made it clear to myself. I set myself a reminder of a famous quote in recent times “‘This too shall pass’… The best is waiting and I’m few steps away. It’s okay to feel lifeless.. It’s okay to have dilemma.. It’s okay to feel weak…  This is gonna change and you will succeed.. You will make your parents proud one day… You will enjoy every single minute of your life… until then, just wait and develop your knowledge”.

Today I set myself a reminder, I hope the one who is reading will also get the same feel as I have… No matter how hard the life pushes you to the edge just be positive and being positive actually works… With the positive thoughts face the upcoming days.

With love

Beauty of Varkala!

Hello guys!
It’s good to see you all again. First I should thank you guys for the love and support you gave me on my first blog. Im glad that some of you came up with your opinions and suggestions which I will probably fulfill in this blog.

I know lockdown is driving us crazy that we are forced to stay in the same place which is for good reason. There are so many good things happening in this lockdown, the main thing is that we are spending time with our family. Still What’s missing in this lockdown?  One thing that we miss terribly is travel. Like you all I also miss travelling.

When I randomly scrolled the gallery I found some pictures of a place and I thought of sharing my experience on that place to you. It was the picture taken in “Varkala”. So you may ask why ‘Varkala’? When you get to know this place you will eventually fall in love this place. Now get-away with me to Varkala…
Varkala is a small Town with limited population. I would refer this place as mini Goa. You can see many foreigners there than in Goa. Because of the less population people prefer Varkala more than Goa. You can see the beach from the cliff. Small town, wonderful spots, Cliffs, beaches, easy access to the drugs, share autos, more nature less people, beautiful language. What more you want for a small vacation?

It was on May 3rd 2018 we started our journey. With full of energy, dance, songs, ours trip was so much fun. Traveling for more than 7 hours covering almost 350 kms made us all so tired. The next day morning by 6.30 we took a walk to the beach. We stayed in a north cliff and our resort was near to the beach and it took five mins to reach the beach. As I was walking towards the beach I saw some foreigners with the cigarette in their hands. To feel the rusticity of Varkala you have to walk through the shops of Varkala North Cliff. There will be many shops like accessories, cafe, restaurant and so many shops with cheap price. When the time was nearing 6.30 only some coffee shops and restaurants were opened. We have to walk down the stairs to reach the beach, while walking down I saw trees on the either side of the steps and in some place I got the view of the beach from the top but it was so much fun because there were more than 100 stairs, which gave me different views of the beach. We reached the beach it was very pleasant, serene, calm and beautiful. I detached myself from the family and I sat alone and only few people were on the beach. I could sense the humidity of that place and heard the sound of the waves and chirping of birds. I was so happy then. I saw the beach which is in my front and I when I turn back I saw only tress no humans. I felt completely relaxed , at that time forgot Everything and Everyone, I just enjoyed the moment just with myself.

Sunset are the best spot in Varkala I agree but my favourite is sunrise, I made a point that for the next two days I should not miss that spot.

We stayed in Varkala for three days we explored many places. “Kapil beach” its a beach which is 8 kms away from the main Varkala beach. Helipad spot, where you can have paragliding. But unfortunately it was closed, when we there, it’ll be available on the months of December to April. Odayam beach sunset. One of the best sunset spots in India I would say.

It was the last day of our stay in Varkala as I mentioned I didn’t Miss that sunrise . I reached there sat on the shore observed the beach. I realised something , people with beautiful heart allows limited people in their life, but they will create a nice impact on the others life, like Varkala. If you allow more people in your life eventually you will end up in polluting yourself. The less you have the more beauty you can posses. Varkala is one such place when you visit you will fall in love with that place. And the impact that it created will remain in your heart forever.

And for the first time in that place I let myself to play with the beach. If you are a traveller or a nature lover don’t miss this is amazing place in Kerala. Hope you enjoyed this blog please drop your comments and let me know your favourite place.

Until then,

Drape a Saree to stand Bold..

Hello guys!
Hope you are all doing good. I’m very excited and happy at the same to share my thoughts. I wanted to write something which I like the most, while I’m into that process I remembered of something and I wanted to share it with you guys and here it goes..

Indian women’s Wardrobe is incomplete without this costume.. it’s none other than saree…. One of the most favourite costume of girls which never goes out of trend. One prominent costume which plays many role in Indian women’s life starting from her puberty till death, she carries this costume throughout her life..

Ok let me tell you a short story about my experience on saree. Every girl in her childhood would have admired her mom’s way of draping saree and would have tried doing the same. I also did the same thing by then my mom used to smile at me and walk away. It was first on my fresher’s day I happen to wear saree. My mom taught me something which inspired me till now.

She started with ‘saree is not only a costume to wear but it also gives you confidence’. I was surprised and asked her in what way it gives confidence. She started explaining..” As the draping starts from the waist it reminds of the girls birth from where she came from, without knowing how it’s going to end, without having confidence she is moving to the next steps , the pleats in the saree says that life is not bed of roses, she pulled her life upwards like she pulled her saree to have perfect shape. And when it comes to the shoulder she gave that confident look and reminds the next end in the air knowing that she molded herself in a beautiful manner

By then my draping was over, my mom remind me one thing that there may be many flaws in the draping yet it looks impeccable.I learned something, maybe life is not perfect but that imperfectness make you perfect. That imperfectness makes you look impeccable. There are many dress out there in the town. But this is my favourite all time and special.

I had shared my experience on my favourite costume. Let me know yours and do drop your valuable comments in the comment box. See you all in the next week.

Until then
Sahana.
